How racing games use PC hardware

Racing games need stable frame pacing because rapid motion makes hitching and latency easy to notice. Grid size, mirrors, reflections, weather, trackside detail, physics, and high refresh targets can all change the workload.

Use the same track, camera, weather, and car count when testing. A solo time trial is usually lighter than a full grid in rain, so both scenarios are useful before choosing a preset or monitor target.
